Dragonfly with Iridescent lead-glass wings

This dragonfly and the cattails were turned on a lathe from black walnut harvested in NC. The wings are made from iridescent stained glass, while the base is an outgrowth piece of black walnut. The pond is made from tinted resin with tiny river rocks embedded in the resin.  It is designed to be mounted on a wall, and is displayed on a temporary base.
